Both Rosemary and Maxine are members of Audiology Australia (AA) and hold Clinical Certificates of Practice from the association. They have been the recipients of several academic and clinical awards throughout their careers and have also undertaken clinical supervision of Audiology undergraduate and masters students. They are involved in continuing education as part of their ongoing professional development, enabling them to keep updated with the changing technology in hearing health care.
In 1998, they were founding directors of ‘Advanced Audiology’ and later ‘Audiology Solutions’, both independent clinics in Hornsby, on Sydney’s North Shore.
Rosemary and Maxine have established a reputation for their caring attitude and excellence in the field of Diagnostic (assessment of both adults and children) and Rehabilitative (hearing aid fittings and follow-up rehabilitation) Audiology. They fit the latest and best in hearing aid technology and are the audiologists of choice for many leading ENTs and GPs in the area. They have a large and loyal client base and provide an independent and unbiased evaluation of your hearing needs.
Rosemary Spector graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, and has over 30 years of experience in the field of Audiology. She has worked in both the public and private sectors initially in South Africa and then in Australia, and has worked alongside leading ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) specialists throughout her career.
Maxine Myers graduated from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and has over 28 years of experience in both the public and private sectors in Australia. She has worked with leading ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) specialists in Australia over this period.
Louise and Cassandra have worked in the health care industry for several years and have a wonderful understanding of our clients’ needs.
They oversee the smooth operation of the clinic and are the first point of contact for our clients.
Louise and Cassandra also do basic hearing aid repairs and are always happy for clients to come in whenever they require any assistance, including the cleaning and general maintenance of their hearing aids.
